How do I program the MSR on a Cherry keyboard to work with Microsoft RMS
Click Start | RunType cmd and hit Enter (this will take you to a DOS prompt)
Type edit and hit Enter (this will open a text editor in DOS)
Enter programming mode by holding down the following six key combination until you hear two beeps and ***MENU ENTRY*** is displayed in your editor.
Ctrl (left), Shift (left), Alt (left), Ctrl (right), Shift (right), Alt (right)
To program the Magnetic Card Reader:
(All numbers will be entered from above the alpha section of the keyboard unless otherwise specified)
Press: J then 1 then Y
Press: J then 2 then Y
